There are many ways to get involved
with research at the MACLab!
Undergraduate
Students
at Duke
The MACLab is currently recruiting undergraduate research assistants (RAs)!
RAs may work on recruiting and contacting families via email to participate in studies, running studies on Zoom, in lab, and at the museum, creating surveys and making study stimuli, coding videos, conducting literature reviews, analyzing data, and communicating results.
If you have any questions or would like to submit an application, please fill out this form.
Prospective
Graduate
Students
I will be considering applications for PhD students this upcoming 2024-2025 cycle.
Please click here to view Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for prospective graduate applicants.
I'm primarily interested in students who would like to conduct international research and have the skillset & aptitude of doing so.
More details on how to apply to the Duke Psychology & Neuroscience graduate program can be found here.
Prospective Postdoctoral Researchers
I am not currently hiring for a postdoctoral researcher, but if you are interested in writing a grant or securing external funding to support postdoctoral studies at the MACLab, feel free to contact Dr. Amir directly to discuss.
